Lauraine Clarke

“I have an interest in this area owing to my own experience of bowel disease which started 35 years ago.  Without organisations like The Bowel Disease Research Foundation there  would be far less of a chance of finding a cure to these often life long and debilitating conditions.  Plus the BDRF looks at the impact of these diseases from the patients perspective which is most welcome.  It is not always easy to find out exactly what research is going on and if you happen to be a sufferer of one of these conditions,  the fact a cure is being sought, is reassuring to say the least.  That is why I support the BDRF.”
